In recent weeks, rapidly-evolving developments in regards to COVID-19 (the Coronavirus) have led to restrictions on business travel, postponement of large group events, and other precautionary measures to reduce any and all public health risks. As organizers of the 2020 Chicago Venture Summit, we share these concerns and have monitored these developments closely. While we’ve been working for the past several months to connect tech investors from across the country with Chicago’s and the Midwest region’s most promising startups – our number one priority is the safety and personal well-being of every summit attendee, our many partners, and the general public.
After consultation with our partners, we are announcing the 2020 Chicago Venture Summit will now be held on September 16-17, 2020.
For those who’ve already purchased your tickets, separate email communication will be sent on next steps.
We especially want to thank our lead partners Google, J.P. Morgan and William Blair for their cooperation and support during this time; and our many local partners who’ve supported Summit 2020’s marketing, outreach and event production efforts. If you have any additional questions, please contact ChicagoNEXT Director Abin Kuriakose. We look forward to sharing more updates in the coming months.
Thank you and see you this September!
